How CompTSS Corporation collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website — and the choices you have.
Last updated: June 30, 2026
CompTSS Corporation (“CompTSS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at comptss.com (the “Site”), how we use and safeguard it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices available to you — including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA).
This policy applies to information collected from visitors to our Site. It does not govern protected health information (PHI) that we may process on behalf of our dental and healthcare clients — see “Protected Health Information and HIPAA” below.
Information you provide to us. When you complete our quote or contact forms, request a consultation, or otherwise reach out, we may collect your name, job title or position, email address, phone number, company or practice name, mailing or service address, preferred contact method and time, and any details you include in your message or file uploads.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring website, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is gathered using cookies and similar technologies.
We use the information we collect to:
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to make the Site function and analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works. We honor recognized universal opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as described in “Your privacy rights” below.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate our business:
Our Site may use third-party tools (for example, analytics, form, and scheduling services) and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
As a technology and security company, protecting data is core to what we do. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption, access controls, monitoring, and secure backups — designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to your requests, provide our services, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Texas residents have the right to:
You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at support@comptss.com or use our contact form. We will respond within 45 days as required by law, with one 45-day extension where reasonably necessary. We also recognize universal opt-out mechanisms, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and you may raise concerns with the Texas Attorney General.
CompTSS provides IT, security, and related services to dental and healthcare practices. When we handle protected health information (PHI) on behalf of those clients, we act as a “business associate” under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). That PHI is governed by HIPAA and by the Business Associate Agreements we maintain with our clients — not by this website Privacy Policy. If you are a patient of one of our clients, please contact that practice directly regarding your health information.
Our Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we do not respond to DNT signals; however, we do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as described above.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version on this page. Significant changes may be communicated through the Site.
